Job summary

The Finish Line, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Accountant, Group Reporting & Inventory to support monthly group reporting, inventory accounting, and close processes.

You will be the primary JD Group contact for PAX and FCC reporting, partnering with Inventory Control to ensure accurate recording and timely submissions. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and 4–6 years in corporate or public accounting; CPA is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• 4–6 years of experience in corporate or public accounting.
• CPA certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit monthly group reporting packages to the JD Group for PAX and FCC.
• Serve as primary contact for JD Group reporting submissions and inquiries.
• Maintain and update JD Group reporting mappings.
• Support month-end close activities and quarterly/year-end closes.
• Perform monthly inventory reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Prepare inventory-related journal entries during month-end close.
• Collaborate with Inventory Control to ensure accurate inventory recording.
• Ensure accounting activities and reporting deliverables comply with policies.
• Work with Directors, VPs and partners to resolve issues and support reporting.
