The University System of New Hampshire seeks an experienced accountant to perform general and advanced accounting duties within the Financial Operations Center. This role offers a remote work option and reports to the Manager of Accounting and Financial Reporting.

You will analyze complex financial data, prepare statements and reports, monitor unit expenses, and coordinate billing and journal entry processes across diverse funding sources.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
• 2 years’ experience required.
• Proficiency with standard finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control practices.
• Experience navigating automated accounting/financial systems.

Aufgaben

• Perform advanced accounting functions including ledger maintenance, cost and financial analysis, fund reconciliation, posting, and inventory control.
• Prepare management reports, financial statements, and other accounting functions regularly and as needed.
• Monitor revenue and expenses for unit and institutional accounts and ensure expenditure control and policy compliance.
• Coordinate timely preparation of billings, cost reports, analyses, and statements for diverse funding sources.
• Prepare journal vouchers and corrections with Finance Divisions; assist with audit activities.
