Job summary

Dandy is transforming the dental industry and seeks a Senior Accountant to own the month- and year-end close for two US labs and international entities. You’ll drive accurate reporting, intercompany activity, and process improvements with an operational mindset.

You will partner with Operations, Procurement, People and FP&A to close gaps, improve controls, and automate close steps in NetSuite and related systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• 3+ years as a Senior Accountant or 5+ years progressive accounting experience.
• Experience in an operational business: manufacturing, distribution, healthcare services, logistics or multi-site operations.
• Strong grasp of US GAAP, accruals, reconciliations and internal controls.
• Advanced Excel skills and comfort with large data sets.
• Experience with intercompany accounting and consolidation.

Responsibilities

• Own prepaid, accrued expense and opex schedules with supporting detail.
• Prepare and post journal entries for monthly, quarterly and annual close with estimates and accruals.
• Book intercompany entries and support consolidation across US and international entities.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve differences before close.
• Prepare flux analyses and explain monthly results to leadership.
• Trace coding errors to source systems and collaborate with owners to fix upstream.
• Document processes, policies and controls for audits.
• Prepare audit support schedules and respond to auditor requests.
• Automate manual close steps in NetSuite and related systems.
