Job summary

Dandy is transforming the dental industry and seeks a Senior Accountant to own core parts of month-end and year-end close. You will support two US manufacturing labs, international entities, and rising transaction volume, collaborating with Operations, Procurement, People and FP&A to fix data and close gaps.

You will lead prepaid/accruals, intercompany, and consolidation activities, drive journal entries, and automate close steps in NetSuite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 3+ years as a Senior Accountant or 5+ years progressive accounting experience.
• Experience in an operational business: manufacturing, distribution, healthcare services, logistics or multi-site operations.
• Strong grasp of US GAAP, accruals, reconciliations and internal controls.
• Advanced Excel skills and comfort with large data sets.
• Track record of fixing root causes in upstream processes.
• Clear, concise communication with accountants and non-accountants.
• Strong organization, attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Curiosity and willingness to ask questions.

Responsibilities

• Own prepaid, accrued expense and OPEX schedules including professional fees, software and contractor spend.
• Prepare and post journal entries for monthly, quarterly and annual close with clear support for estimates, allocations and accruals.
• Book intercompany entries and support consolidation across US and international entities; coordinate with Tax on transfer pricing entries.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve differences before close.
• Prepare flux analysis and explain monthly results to Controller and FP&A.
• Trace coding errors back to source systems and work with owners to fix them upstream.
• Document processes, accounting policies and controls for annual audits.
• Prepare audit support schedules and respond to auditor requests.
• Automate manual close steps in NetSuite and related systems.
