Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an Accountant to join a manufacturing company and support day-to-day transactional accounting, including AP/AR, invoices, reconciliations, and monthly close. You will be hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently while collaborating with leadership in a smaller, collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of accounting experience, proficiency with AP/AR, and familiarity with ERP systems like Great Plains, Oracle, or Epicor CMS.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on accounting experience.
• Solid working knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Experience with AP/AR and month-end close and financial reporting.
• Experience with vendor invoices and reconciling accounts/bank statements.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Review and process vendor invoices with proper documentation before payment.
• Manage approximately 20-30 invoices per week with month-end fluctuations.
• Track outstanding supplier payments and customer receivables.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations and maintain accurate financial data.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close and with financial reporting (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
