Job summary

provide is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage full-cycle month-end close and general ledger activities across two business units. You will work with the Controller to ensure accurate financial results, strong internal controls, and compliance with U.S. GAAP in a Fortune 100 environment.

You will support audits, prepare schedules, and maintain fixed asset records while analyzing variances and ensuring timely, audit-ready reporting. Manufacturing experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• 3-5 years of General Ledger accounting experience, including monthly close and reconciliations.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Manufacturing and inventory accounting experience strongly preferred.
• Internal controls, audit support, or public-company reporting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the Controller in executing the full-cycle month-end close for two business units.
• Prepare and post recurring, accrued, adjusting, and reclassification journal entries with documentation.
• Own monthly balance sheet account and subledger reconciliations; investigate reconciling items.
• Analyze trial balances, P&L and balance sheet variances, and prepare close schedules.
• Maintain fixed asset and depreciation schedules and support recognition of accrued expenses.
• Prepare audit-ready workpapers and reporting schedules per U.S. GAAP and public-company requirements.
• Document internal controls over journal entries, reconciliations, cash, revenue, inventory and expenses.
• Support internal and external audits, control testing, and resolution of control findings.
• Reconcile inventory and work-in-progress accounts and recommend adjustments.
• Analyze manufacturing labor and overhead absorption and provide GL-related support to AR, AP, and cash processes.
