Planet Pharma is seeking a Senior Accountant to fortify our accounting close and revenue recognition processes in a public-company setting. You will partner with external accounting support and internal stakeholders across accounting, finance, and operations to ensure accurate day-to-day accounting and a smooth monthly close.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting fundamentals, reconciliation processes, and month-end close activities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee NetSuite integration for newly acquired businesses and related system/process changes.
• Manage day-to-day accounting activity performed by a 3rd party overseas external consultant team across multiple entities (A/R, A/P, unbilled, prepaid, accruals, intercompany, fixed assets, deferred revenue, leases, commissions).
• Coordinate monthly general ledger close: ensure journal entries posted, review preliminary statements, and record adjusting entries; prepare/review reconciliations.
• Support revenue close process and ASC 606 compliance for complex multi-element arrangements.
• Conduct monthly/quarterly SOX control testing and prepare management reports.
