Job summary

Global software / technology services company is seeking a Senior Revenue Accountant to join the growing finance team in Westford, MA. This role will work closely with management and leadership teams and be involved in ASC 606 revenue recognition, revenue operations, contracts analysis, deferred revenue, and other month-end close support.

Candidates should have 4+ years of experience, from public accounting or corporate, with strong ASC 606 expertise and CPA a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4+ years of relevant revenue accounting experience in SaaS, Software, or public accounting.
• Strong knowledge and application of ASC 606 revenue recognition.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate revenue recognition in compliance with GAAP (ASC 606)
• Manage deferred revenue and perform related reconciliations
• Prepare and analyze revenue and sales reports
• Support internal controls and compliance initiatives
• Collaborate with sales, finance, and audit teams to ensure revenue processes are accurate and timely
• Assist with testing and implementation of ERP upgrades and system enhancements
• Provide analytical insights to support financial decision-making
