Job summary

Alamar Biosciences, Inc. is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our finance team in the United States. The role will own monthly and quarterly close processes, reconciliations, and intercompany accounting, while supporting global consolidation and tax reporting.

The Senior Accountant will help maintain internal controls, assist with external audits and SOX compliance, and collaborate with FP&A, Tax, and Operations to improve accounting accuracy in a fast-paced biotech environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required or equivalent experience.
• CPA certification or active progress toward CPA preferred.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own accounting and reporting for designated entities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Support monthly, quarterly close processes and financial statement tie-outs.
• Assist in global consolidation, intercompany accounting, and foreign-currency transactions.
• Support external audits, SOX compliance, and regulatory reporting.
