Job summary

Alarm is seeking a Senior Accountant (Corporate Close) to lead month-end and quarter-end close, including international operations, under US GAAP. The role requires preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules, plus FX translation, intercompany, inventory, fixed assets, and equity accounting.

The position emphasizes close execution, governance controls, and collaboration with cross-functional partners across Supply Chain, FP&A, HR, Legal, Tax, and Payroll.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP and the financial close process.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
• Ability to meet reporting deadlines and support closes on a regular schedule.
• Ability to work independently and escalate questions when needed.

Responsibilities

• Close execution: prepare journals, reconciliations, and supporting schedules for monthly/quarterly close.
• Support international subsidiary close, FX translation, and intercompany reconciliations.
• Manage inventory, fixed assets, and equity-related entries (ASC 718).
• Support monthly Flash reporting and quarterly flux analysis; assist audits and board materials.
