Job summary

UGI Utilities, Inc. in Pennsylvania seeks an Accountant to support Record-to-Report processes with a focus on month-end close activities, regulatory reporting, and process improvements. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance, at least 5 years of experience, and strong skills in communication, Excel, and regulatory principles. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement with three days in the office, promoting a collaborative environment and work-life balance.

Qualifications

• 5 years of accounting experience.
• Experience in a regulated accounting environment preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in process improvement and consolidation activities.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for variance analysis and financial statement reporting.
• Prepare and file regulatory reports such as FERC Form 1.
• Act as Subject Matter Expert to design and automate processes.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

CPA or working toward CPA
