Job summary

Kings III Emergency Communications is seeking an experienced accounting professional with 3-5 years of GAAP accounting experience to ensure accuracy in financial reporting, manage general ledger activities, and oversee month-end and year-end closings.

You will partner with operations to monitor inventory, support forecasting and audits, and assist with tax filings while upholding internal control practices in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience with general ledger functions, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Treasury experience and multi-entity or multi-currency accounting knowledge a plus.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle; strong ERP skills.
• Advanced Excel skills and GAAP/IFRS knowledge.
• Ability to thrive in dynamic, high-paced environments; prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger accounting functions including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Lead or assist closing activities to ensure timely financial statements.
• Partner with operations to monitor inventory accuracy and variances.
• Perform reconciliations of bank accounts, intercompany balances, key GL accounts.
• Support internal financial reporting and variance analysis including cash flow.
• Assist with audits and preparation of audit schedules.
• Prepare and file monthly sales tax and annual reports across states.
• Support AP and AR processing to ensure invoicing and collections.
• Contribute to process improvements and internal control procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
