Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3–5+ years progressive accounting experience.
• Experience with general ledger accounting, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Experience supporting month-end and year-end close processes.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries for general ledger accounts.
• Perform monthly account and balance sheet reconciliations across multiple entities.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial data.
• Support external and internal audit requests, including preparation of schedules and documentation.
• Assist with variance analysis, comparing actuals to budget and forecast.
• Maintain fixed asset schedules and support depreciation and capital expenditure tracking.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve accounting issues and support reporting needs.
• Mentor and review the work of staff accountants as needed.
• Support process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and accuracy.
