Zusammenfassung

Crown Castle International is seeking an Accountant III to ensure accounting policy compliance, manage monthly closes, and analyze complex balance sheet accounts. This role requires strong GAAP expertise, ERP experience, and the ability to work with internal auditors and external partners.

Responsibilities include preparing journal entries, complex schedules for external reporting, and driving process improvements while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifikationen

• Proficiency in US GAAP and SOX controls.
• Strong Excel modeling and data analysis abilities.
• Excellent communication with cross-functional teams.

Aufgaben

• Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls.
• Ensure an accurate and timely monthly accounting close.
• Perform regular analysis and reconciliations of complex balance sheet accounts.
• Prepare and record complex journal entries.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly flux analysis commentary for assigned accounts.
• Prepare complex schedules for external reporting and internal management reporting packages.
• Assist with development of processes for accounting for complex contracts.
• Communicate and train accounting policy to internal partners.
• Review accruals for reasonableness and propose adjustments.
• Identify and implement process improvements.
• Support inquiries from auditors.
