Actus Consulting Group in Elk Grove Village, IL seeks a Senior Accountant to support accurate financial reporting, month-end close, and internal controls under US GAAP. You will record GL entries, reconcile accounts, and prepare reports, working with the Controller and auditors.

Key duties include accounts payable/receivable close, inventory accounting, fixed assets, intercompany billings, and coordinating with tax and external auditors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
• CPA or equivalent qualification is required.
• Minimum five years of accounting experience.
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP is required.
• Extensive Excel experience, incl. VLOOKUP and pivot tables; MS Office familiarity.
• Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP system.
• Inventory reconciliations and roll-forwards experience.
• Strong English communication, both written and verbal.

Responsabilités

• Record GL entries and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
• Prepare month-end close and supporting reports.
• Support inventory accounting, depreciation, and asset capitalization.
• Handle intercompany billings and payments; reconcile receivables/payables.
• Coordinate with auditors and support tax filings and audits.
• Assist with Form 1099s and month-end expense accruals.
