Job summary

The successful candidate will prepare journal entries, perform balance sheet and cash reconciliations, analyze account activity, and help with audits, budgeting, and forecasting. Strong GAAP knowledge and advanced Excel skills are required, with payroll and multi-location experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and reconciliation experience.
• Payroll experience preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Healthcare or multi-location experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and support month-end close.
• Perform balance sheet, bank, credit card, and cash reconciliations.
• Analyze account activity and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation.
• Assist with audits, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and controls.
• Partner with HR, Operations, and other departments.
• Support special projects as needed.
