Job summary

IFG US in Skokie, IL seeks a Senior Accountant to manage core accounting functions under US GAAP, including general ledger, monthly close, revenue, AR/AP, inventory, payroll, assets, and tax compliance.

The role collaborates with FP&A and operations on reporting, audits, and process improvements, with responsibilities for close, reconciliations, cash flow, and regulatory filings. CPA preferred;4+ years corporate accounting; ERP experience (Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field required.
• A minimum four years of corporate accounting experience.
• A minimum of two years of public accounting experience and CPA designation are preferred.
• ERP experience required; experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP Business One, Oracle, or JD Edwards is highly desirable.
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work under pressure and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Execute timely production of accurate monthly divisional financial statements for internal and external reporting.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures.
• Perform month-end close activities including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and disclosures.
• Handle financial reporting and compilation for operational and commercial matters, including commissions and royalties.
• Participate in tax-related activities and support audits and regulatory filings.
• Collaborate with auditors and business partners on documentation and analysis.
• Manage cash-flow and liquidity reporting to ensure adequate funding and adherence to objectives.
• Support budgeting processes and periodic reporting; contribute to process improvements.
• Identify opportunities for ERP enhancements, automation, and master-data governance.

Education

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
