Job summary

FloSports, a leading digital platform for sports, is seeking a Senior Accountant in Austin, TX. You will manage journal entries, monthly reconciliations, and GL integrity, while contributing to analyses and ad hoc reporting across the finance function.

The role requires a solid understanding of U.S. GAAP, 2–5 years of accounting experience, and strong communication and organizational skills. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and support year-end audits and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required.
• 2–5 years accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and accounting software.
• Ability to multitask and work independently.
• Team player with cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Process journal entries and other accounting transactions.
• Process expense report transactions.
• Perform monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts.
• Maintain overall accuracy and integrity of the general ledger.
• Organize and maintain accounting files and records.
• Perform monthly financial statement analytics.
• Assist with the year-end audit.
• Participate in special projects to improve accounting efficiency.
• Respond to requests for financial information from business functions.
