Job summary

Fitness International seeks a Senior Accountant to join the General Accounting team at the corporate headquarters. You will contribute to company-wide accounting for 600+ clubs, ensuring timely month-end close and accurate financial reporting for US and international activities.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in accounting or finance with 3+ years of experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and proficiency in Excel. Public accounting background and familiarity with Workday/CoStar are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• Public accounting experience with Big 4 or National firm preferred.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and ability to research accounting guidance.
• Experience with Workday or CoStar is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly accounting entries (prepaids, accruals, deferrals) and reconcile discrepancies to support month/year-end close.
• Prepare monthly account analyses and balance sheet analysis.
• Publish journal entries under US GAAP (ASC 842/ASC 606).
• Research and document accounting treatments for complex transactions under US GAAP.
• Support annual audits and quarterly reporting requirements.
• Assist with system and process improvements to enhance financial reporting and efficiency.
• Handle special projects or ad hoc reports as needed.
