Anywhere Real Estate Inc. in Madison, NJ is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the Regional Controllers Accounting team.

You will ensure journal entries are accurate, support the month-end close, and maintain compliance with GAAP while collaborating with managers across the organization. The role emphasizes process improvement, accurate reconciliations, and strong communication with executives and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
• Experience with Oracle and/or BlackLine.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Ensure journal entries are accurate and GAAP-compliant.
• Coordinate with departments to obtain support for journal entries.
• Review monthly reconciliations for accuracy and completeness.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and analyses.
• Manage month-end close and accruals.
• Ensure finance activities comply with GAAP and policies.
• Propose improvements to accounting methods and processes.
• Lead process analysis and present recommendations to Senior Management.
• Support ad hoc analyses and special projects.
• Maintain clear communication with stakeholders and executives.
