Connect Search, LLC is partnering with an organization in the Greater Madison area to hire a Senior Accountant. This role involves full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, and process improvements in a hybrid work setting.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, 3–5+ years of experience, and proficiency in Sage 100, along with advanced Excel skills. Strong attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Perform journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close support.
• Conduct GL reviews, variance analysis, and assist with budget preparation.
