Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or similar from an accredited university.
• 3+ years of accounting experience in public accounting OR GL accounting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all closing processes and financial statement preparation.
• Manage the fixed asset accounting function for your assigned properties.
• Makes recommendations and creates plans to improve internal controls when necessary.
• Performing P&L analysis and ad hoc reporting when necessary.
• Daily and weekly balance sheet reconciliations and checking for accuracy and thoroughness.
• Applies standard GAAP methods; makes recommendations to improve practices or procedures.
• Creating journal entries and doing bank reconciliations
