Job summary

Ebs Recruiters LLC is seeking a Senior Accountant to join a growing accounting team in a newly created role designed to support continued business growth and enhance accounting operations. You will own key month-end close activities, mentor junior staff, and partner with leadership to drive process improvements and efficiencies.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of accounting experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; 5+ years of accounting experience.
• CPA with fewer years of experience will be considered.
• Strong GAAP knowledge, financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups).

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Review balance sheet and income statement variances and provide analysis.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
• Ensure accuracy of general ledger activity and financial records.
• Mentor junior staff and drive process improvements and efficiencies.
