Equip, a fully virtual eating disorder treatment company, seeks a Senior Accountant to own complex close cycles and tough financial analysis from a home-based setup. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive professional accounting experience, with exposure to complex close cycles.
• CPA license; GAAP proficiency; advanced Excel, Netsuite, and G-Suite.
• Experience with multi-entity operations or healthcare accounting processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare month-end and year-end close activities, balance sheet reconciliations, and assist with financial statements.
• Conduct technical accounting research and document positions, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain internal controls and compliance procedures for audit readiness.
• Perform monthly due diligence reporting to validate fluctuations in financial statements.
• Assist Controller with annual audits; liaise with external consultants as needed.
• Coordinate data for external tax professionals for federal, state, and local filings.
• Support reporting and ad hoc analyses, as required.
• Provide accounting support for system implementations and data integrity testing.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency via automation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
