Onto Innovation, headquartered in Wilmington, MA, is seeking a Senior Accountant to support general ledger, month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting. The role partners with finance, operations, and business teams to ensure data integrity and drive process improvements.

The successful candidate will have 3–5 years of accounting experience, a solid grasp of U.S. GAAP, and ERP exposure (Oracle/SAP/NetSuite). Competitive pay and a broad benefits package are offered.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3-5 years progressive accounting experience, preferably public or corporate.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and general ledger accounting.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, or similar.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookups.

Mansioni

• Prepare and post journal entries, reconciliations, and schedules for month-/quarter-end close.
• Analyze general ledger activity and investigate variances.
• Support preparation of financial statements and management reporting.
• Maintain accurate accounting records per U.S. GAAP and policies.
• Assist with fixed asset accounting and intercompany activity.
• Support audit requests with schedules and explanations.
• Ensure SOX/compliance where applicable.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and close timelines.
• Collaborate with FP&A, operations, tax, treasury, and other teams.
• Assist with special projects and ad hoc analysis.
