Job summary

Bed Bath & Beyond in Dallas, TX is seeking an accounting professional to manage all accounting aspects of assigned departments, including outlook/budgeting and coding AP invoices, while coordinating with department leaders.

You will maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts, ensure accurate monthly forecasts and journal entries, act as liaison between executives and the accounting team, support finance IT projects, handle ad hoc requests, and perform other duties as directed while following

Responsibilities

• All accounting related aspects of assigned departments (including accounting, outlook/budgeting, coding AP invoices)
• Responsible for maintaining and reconciling selected balance sheet accounts
• Accurate, on-time journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
• Accurate monthly department outlooks/forecasts
• Liaison between department executives and the accounting department
• Supports and assists with finance related IT projects
• Provides accounting support for adhoc requests and new business activities
• Perform other duties as required and assigned by manager and upper management.
• Follow legal policies as directed
