Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
• 8+ years of experience with technical accounting research.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• CPA certification.

• Experience with SOX compliance.
• Action & detail oriented.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high level of technical proficiency in US GAAP and SEC Regulations to ensure reporting requirements are satisfied.
• Prepare quarterly and ad-hoc technical accounting memos to ensure regulatory and US GAAP compliance.
• Research, interpret, and document new accounting standards to ensure proper application and internal controls.
• Provide technical accounting consultation on US GAAP and practical implementation, including acquisitions and other projects.
• Manage accounting and disclosure for stock-based compensation programs and equity investments.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams on company-wide initiatives impacting accounting and US GAAP compliance.
• Provide technical consultation on internal control matters, including process documentation and gap analysis.
• Assist external reporting team with SEC filings and quarterly reporting requirements as needed.
• Facilitate internal training across accounting and business operations to promote compliance.
