Job summary

Stitch Fix Inc. is seeking a Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting to own external filings, equity accounting, and technical accounting under U.S. GAAP and SEC rules.

You will partner with Accounting, Legal, Finance, and external auditors to ensure accurate, timely reporting in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include preparing 10-Q/10-K/8-K filings, supporting SB‑C accounting, and contributing to memorandums.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting.
• Strong foundation in U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
• Knowledge of stock-based compensation under ASC 718.
• Highly organized with the ability to meet tight reporting deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to translate complex topics.
• Proficient in Excel; comfortable with AI and automation tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and support external filings and internal reporting (10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, earnings releases).
• Manage equity accounting under ASC 718, including SB‑C journal entries and reconciliations.
• Research GAAP/SEC guidance and contribute to technical accounting memorandums.
• Support external audits and SOX compliance with documentation and schedules.
• Improve workflows with Excel, Workiva, Oracle, Google Workspace, and AI tools.
