This position will support month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting, and process improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Month-End Close

• Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, allocations, prepaid expenses, and payroll-related transactions
• Perform account reconciliations and ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data
• Support month-end and year-end close activities
• Analyze financial transactions and investigate variances
• Maintain and strengthen accounting controls and procedures

Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare monthly financial reporting packages for management
• Perform variance analysis and provide explanations for key fluctuations
• Analyze financial results, trends, and operational metrics
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
• Ensure reporting is compliant with GAAP and company policies

Process Improvement & Business Support

• Collaborate with finance and operational teams on business initiatives
• Assist with internal and external audit requests
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiencies
• Support system enhancements, reporting improvements, and special projects
• Provide ad hoc analysis and reporting to leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
• Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and financial statement analysis
• Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling and data analysis
• Experience working within ERP systems
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA preferred but not required
• Experience supporting budgeting and forecasting activities
• Experience preparing management reporting packages and variance analyses
• Multi-entity accounting experience is a plus
• Proven ability to identify process improvements and drive efficiencies
