Job summary

Baker Tilly in San Francisco is seeking a Family Office Accounting Senior Associate to join our fast-growing practice. You will handle full accounting processes, including GL, journal entries, monthly close, financial statements, and intercompany reconciliations for ultra-high net worth clients.

Successful candidates will have a Bachelor's degree, CPA eligibility preferred, and at least 3 years of progressive accounting and professional services experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA eligibility preferred.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, including professional services.
• Strong Excel and QuickBooks proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide full accounting services: GL maintenance, journal entries, monthly close, budgets, and financial statements with workpapers.
• Review accounts payable function and GL accountants.
• Coordinate payroll with clients and Family Office payroll team.
• Manage and reconcile bank, brokerage, and credit card accounts; oversee staff.
• Oversee year-end reporting and 1099 preparation.
• Assist in quarterly/annual tax packages and supporting documents.
• Respond to client requests and inquiries; manage relationships with clients and vendors.
