Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; CPA preferred.
• Five or more years of related experience required.
• Experience with Excel, Word, Outlook required.
• Experience with QuickBooks Enterprise and QuickBooks Online, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, employee benefits, and general ledger accounting.
• Individual income tax experience a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to direct, develop, and coach team members.
• Experience in autonomous decision making weighing costs, benefits, risk and chances for success.

Responsibilities

• Work with clients to support accounting and reporting needs.
• Provide timely and accurate financial information for business decisions.
• Manage completeness and timeliness of client deliverables.
• Utilize technologies to add value to client experience.
• Assist in creation or expansion of accounting policies and procedures.
• Manage cash flow and high-volume AP processing.
• Coordinate with clients and team via virtual platforms.
• Review financial statements for inconsistencies and revenue opportunities.
• Coordinate annual audits and/or tax returns with outside CPA firms.
• Stay informed on business and market information to identify risks and opportunities.
