Job summary

Baker Tilly is seeking a Family Office Accounting Senior Associate in Frisco, TX to support ultra-high net worth clients with end-to-end accounting, financial reporting, cash management and payroll coordination. You will handle multiple clients, manage general ledger activity, close processes, and assist with quarterly and annual tax packages, while upholding the highest standards of confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• CPA eligible preferred.
• 3 years of progressive accounting experience.
• 2+ years of professional services experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and QuickBooks.
• Strong project management and client service skills.
• Solid understanding and working knowledge of GAAP and financial statements.
• High attention to detail, problem solver & intellectually curious.

Responsibilities

• Provide multiple clients with accounting and administrative services including: maintaining general ledger, posting journal entries, coordinating monthly close, budgeting and reporting.
• Review accounts payable function and GL activity.
• Coordinate payroll with clients and Family Office payroll team.
• Manage and reconcile bank, brokerage and credit card accounts; supervise staff.
• Perform reconciliations and analyses for balance sheet accounts, including inter-company.
• Oversee year-end reporting and 1099 preparation.
• Assist in quarterly and annual tax package preparation and supporting documents.
• Respond to client inquiries and manage client relationships as needed.
