Job summary

Baker Tilly is seeking a Manager, Family Office in the Accounting & Finance Services group to lead financial reporting for family office clients. You will establish accounting policies, supervise staff, and ensure timely statements while coordinating with outside CPA firms.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (CPA preferred) and 5+ years of related experience, with strong Excel/QuickBooks proficiency and excellent communication skills for client interaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of related experience required.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook required.
• Experience with QuickBooks Enterprise/Online and GL accounting a must.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with clients to support accounting and reporting needs.
• Serve as a trusted advisor delivering expertise in a timely, personal manner.
• Manage completeness and timeliness of client deliverables.
• Coordinate annual audit and/or tax return with outside CPA firm.
• Supervise a family office staff and allocate work effectively.
• Develop accounting policies and procedures and improve data quality.
• Oversee high-volume accounts payable processing and reconciliations.
