Job summary

Neil Jesani Advisors, Inc. (NJA) seeks an experienced Senior Accountant to lead core accounting for NJA’s entities and lines of business. You will manage month-end close, GL maintenance, revenue and lease schedules, and support audits. The role includes converting historical records from cash to accrual and participating in a cloud ERP implementation.

This hands-on role suits someone who builds scalable, well-controlled accounting processes within a growing firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong US GAAP, ASC 606 and lease accounting knowledge.
• Multi-entity accounting with intercompany transactions.
• Experience with cloud ERP (NetSuite or Dynamics 365) and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and schedules for accruals, prepaids, and leases.
• Reconcile bank, credit card, and balance sheet accounts monthly.
• Own close activities and maintain the close checklist.
• Prepare monthly entity and business-line financial reports.
• Support external audits and internal controls improvements.
• Assist with ERP implementation and process improvements.
