Job summary

Neil Jesani Advisors, Inc. seeks a Corporate Financial Controller to lead the accounting function, financial reporting, consolidation, and internal controls across NJA entities.

This on-site role in Sunrise, FL, reports to the CFO and will own the close, consolidation, and technical accounting areas across multiple practices. You will drive a scalable accounting organization, implement a new ERP, and partner with cross-functional leaders to ensure audited financial statements and strong

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience with leadership responsibility.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Demonstrated ownership of monthly, quarterly, and annual close, consolidation, and financial reporting under U.S. GAAP.
• Experience leading multi-entity consolidations and intercompany accounting.
• Hands-on leadership of a major ERP implementation or finance-system transformation.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close across all NJA entities, including intercompany reconciliations and eliminations.
• Drive a disciplined close calendar to reduce cycle time and improve visibility for leadership.
• Produce consolidated and entity-level P&L, balance sheet, and cash-flow reporting with variance analysis.
• Own technical accounting areas (revenue recognition, equity and compensation, acquisitions).
• Establish accounting policies, procedures, and reporting standards across the enterprise.
• Design and implement internal controls, chart of accounts, and governance framework.
• Manage external audits and oversee tax compliance and financial reporting for stakeholders.
• Lead SOX readiness and strengthen processes, controls, and documentation.
• Oversee ERP evaluation, selection, and end-to-end implementation; ensure data conversion and training.
