Job summary

MEDLOG USA is seeking a Senior Accountant, Depot Services to ensure accuracy of financial information across our joint venture portfolio. You’ll manage close cycles, ledger integrity, journal entries, and intercompany activity in a fast-paced logistics environment.

This hands-on role requires strong Excel skills, US GAAP knowledge, and collaboration with an external operating partner to translate operational data into reliable reporting.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of accounting experience.
• Strong general ledger, journal entry, and reconciliation experience.
• Experience supporting financial close processes.
• Experience working with operational data or externally sourced information preferred.
• Exposure to multi-entity or operational environments preferred.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP.
• Exposure to lease accounting (ASC 842 / IFRS 16) preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills required.
• CPA preferred; equivalent experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Execute core accounting processes supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close cycles.
• Prepare and post journal entries including accruals, prepaids, provisions, interest, depreciation, and lease accounting (ASC 842 / IFRS 16).
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring timely resolution of reconciling items.
• Maintain supporting schedules for fixed assets, inventory, receivables, and financing-related balances.
• Support preparation of financial reporting packages and ensure underlying data is complete and well‑documented.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies, variances, and abnormal account balances.
• Record and track intercompany transactions, partner funding activity, and loan balances.
• Facilitate approvals for purchase transactions in accordance with operating agreement provisions.
• Support adherence to reporting requirements defined in operating agreements.
• Work directly with the operating partner to obtain supporting detail for revenue, costs, and transaction activity.
• Validate completeness and accuracy of externally provided data prior to recording in the general ledger.
• Prepare supporting schedules for sales tax reporting and coordinate with external tax advisors.
• Maintain audit‑ready documentation supporting all accounting activities.
• Support process improvements and system initiatives to enhance efficiency and control.
