Deppmann is seeking a Senior Accountant to ensure accurate and timely financial records, supporting monthly closes, inventory accounting, margin analysis, and internal controls. The role requires independent work, strong communication, and potential leadership growth within a customer-focused HVAC and industrial equipment distributor.

The ideal candidate will have solid US GAAP knowledge, advanced Excel skills, and ERP experience (NetSuite).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• 5-8 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
• Advanced Excel skills and NetSuite experience.

Responsabilités

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities.
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations and accruals.
• Ensure US GAAP-compliant financial statements.
• Analyze P&L and balance sheet variances and explain them.
• Support management reporting and KPI development.
• Maintain and reconcile inventory accounts and cost data.
• Review AR, AP, and cash application impacts; revenue recognition.
• Assist internal audits and strengthen controls and policies.
• Support system upgrades, automation, and reporting improvements.
• Mentor accounting team members and drive process improvement.
