Job summary

MSIG USA seeks a Senior Accountant, Delegated Program Finance Business Partner, to support delegated authority and program business within a Property & Casualty environment. Reporting to the Director, this role coordinates bordereaux, reconciliations, settlements, forecasting, and exception management for assigned programs.

The position partners with Delegated Underwriting, Claims Operations, Technology, Actuarial, and Data teams to ensure accurate, timely reporting and controls, while driving

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in Property & Casualty insurance, delegated authority, program business, or related finance operations.
• Experience supporting financial reporting, close processes, balance sheet reconciliations, account analyses, and cash/settlement processes.
• Understanding of delegated authority operations and bordereaux structures.
• Advanced Excel proficiency; experience with ledger, reporting, or data analytics tools.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across Finance, Underwriting, Claims Operations, Actuarial, Technology, and Data.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, accounting, settlements, and close processes for assigned delegated programs.
• Review bordereaux accounting outputs, prepare journal entries, review reinsurance cessions, and investigate material exceptions.
• Prepare GWP forecasts for assigned delegated programs and analyze variances against the forecast.
• Maintain program-level reconciliations, balance sheet analyses, and related financial reporting.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to monitor program performance and support decision-making.
