Job summary

MSIG USA is seeking a Program Manager in its Delegated Business Unit to oversee underwriting and profitable program business, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and regulatory requirements. The role includes managing relationships with external Program Administrators and guiding the program lifecycle.

You will conduct market research, monitor underwriting activity, update guidelines with MSMM risk appetite, and collaborate with Product Development on program coverages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• CPCU designation or other insurance-related coursework preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of commercial lines underwriting experience required.

Responsibilities

• Manage relationships with external Program Administrators to ensure compliance with admitted market requirements.
• Conduct market research on proposed programs and trends to advise on new niches.
• Oversee evaluation, onboarding, and monitoring of program lifecycle.
• Monitor underwriting activities to ensure adherence to delegated authority and pricing methodologies.
• Review and update underwriting guidelines with Product Line Managers for risk alignment.
• Collaborate with Product Development to refine program-specific coverages.
• Oversee program audits and ensure bordereau data accuracy.
