Job summary

Hanwha Energy USA, headquartered in Houston, TX, is seeking a Senior Accountant to support the Corporate Finance department. The role focuses on recording daily and monthly activity under GAAP, preparing financial reports, performing reconciliations, and maintaining ledgers.

The position is based in Houston, TX, with in-office presence required Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. You will report to Accounting Managers and may participate in special projects while strengthening internal

Qualifications

• CPA license highly preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; minimum 5 years accounting experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to present and validate information.
• Proactive communication with internal and external parties to resolve issues.
• Flexibility to meet peak periods including overtime and occasional weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Process and/or review and approve AR/AP invoices.
• Lead month-end close in the first five business days.
• Prepare and review monthly journal entries with proper support.
• Reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts.
• Prepare rollforwards and explain variances.
