Responsibilities

• Prepare moderately complex journal entries for entry into the general ledger on a monthly basis.
• Analyze general ledger accounts for accuracy and prepare reconciliations.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and internal controls are in place.
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close.
• Assist in working papers for the annual audit.
• Collaborate with accounting, billing and payables staff on various tasks.
• Perform data mining and ad-hoc reporting related to accounting.
• Assist with internal and external reporting as needed.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements.
