Job summary

ContinuumRx in Birmingham, Alabama seeks a Senior Accountant to strengthen monthly close, financial reporting, and GAAP compliance. You will partner with Finance leadership to safeguard the integrity of financial information and support operational efficiency.

This role handles journal entries, account reconciliations, intercompany activity, asset and lease schedules, and audit support, while leading process improvements and internal controls within a collaborative office environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 2+ years of accounting experience required.
• Experience with month-end close, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Experience with multi-entity intercompany accounting is a plus.
• Experience with ERP or accounting software required.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support month-end and year-end close activities.
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Ensure accuracy of the general ledger and analyze variances.
• Maintain fixed asset and lease accounting schedules; record depreciation and amortization.
• Support intercompany accounting, allocations, and audits.
• Assist with internal controls and process improvements.
