Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience including general ledger and monthly close.
• Public accounting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile assigned general ledger accounts, bank and credit card accounts.
• Prepare and post journal entries for accruals, prepaid expenses, depreciation, and other areas.
• Review balances, perform variance analysis, and communicate findings to leadership.
• Maintain fixed asset schedules and record additions, disposals, and depreciation.
• Reconcile inventory balances and investigate discrepancies with Operations.
• Support revenue recognition and related reconciliations per US GAAP.
• Prepare schedules and docs for financial reporting, tax filings, and audits.
• Follow internal controls and identify gaps in accounting processes.
• Collaborate with other departments to obtain accurate financial information.
• Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
