Century Group is partnering with a client seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. The role includes leading month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting to ensure accurate results.

The candidate will oversee the general ledger, journal entries, and schedules, while supporting project accounting, fixed assets, lease accounting, and vendor relations. Strong GAAP knowledge and Excel/ERP proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Requires strong GAAP knowledge and solid experience in month-end close and financial reporting.
• Demonstrated ability to manage reconciliations, journal entries, and schedules.
• Proven leadership and ability to develop junior staff and collaborate cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Lead month end close activities, reconciliations, and financial reporting processes.
• Oversee general ledger accounting, journal entries, and supporting schedules.
• Manage accounts payable activities, vendor relationships, and payment processing.
• Support project accounting, fixed asset tracking, lease accounting, and other operational accounting responsibilities.
• Identify process improvements and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives.
