BELAY Corporate is seeking a Senior Accountant to support our Financial Solutions team remotely. You will bridge day-to-day accounting with technical insights, ensuring accurate month-end close and high-quality client reporting across a portfolio.

The role requires leading with expertise, coaching Staff Accountants, and partnering with Managers to uphold engagement scope and client satisfaction. Strong QB Online proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4–8 years of accounting experience, ideally in client-service or outsourced environments.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and related applications.
• Strong communication and client-service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary accounting escalation point for client questions and complex transactions.
• Perform month-end close support, financial statement prep, and variance analysis.
• Review work of Staff Accountants and Bookkeepers for accuracy and adherence to processes.
• Collaborate with Accounting Managers and Controllers to ensure consistent service delivery.
• Identify process improvements and guide teams on technical accounting guidance.
