Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3-6 years of progressive tax accounting experience.
• Experience preparing and reviewing individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns.
• Experience with tax planning, projections, and tax research.
• Strong working knowledge of federal and state tax laws, financial statements, and accounting principles.
• Experience managing multiple client engagements or priorities within established deadlines.
• Proficiency with tax preparation software, QuickBooks Online, Microsoft Excel, and workflow management tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned clients, providing timely and responsive tax support.
• Prepare and review complex individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns.
• Conduct tax planning and projections for individuals and businesses throughout the year.
• Research and resolve federal and state tax matters, including correspondence with the IRS and state agencies.
• Identify tax-saving opportunities and provide proactive recommendations based on client needs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal partners.
