BELAY Corporate is seeking a Senior Inventory Accountant for Financial Solutions to manage inventory accounting across client accounts. You will lead discussions, oversee reconciliations, cost accounting, and month-end close, while optimizing inventory systems and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4–8 years of progressive accounting experience in client-service, outsourced accounting, or inventory-focused environments.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, reconciliations, month-end close, inventory, and cost accounting.
• Experience with inventory management systems, accounting systems, and/or system integrations.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and related accounting applications.
• Excellent client communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple clients, systems, and deadlines in a remote environment.
• High attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.

Responsabilités

• Lead client discussions on inventory, cost accounting, and related matters and provide practical recommendations.
• Manage recurring inventory accounting including reconciliations, costing, COGS, and month-end close.
• Analyze inventory balances, standard and landed costs, gross margin, and variances.
• Investigate variances and system discrepancies and determine appropriate accounting treatment.
• Support implementation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of inventory management systems.
• Train clients on inventory systems and accounting processes and maintain documentation.
• Prepare and review financial statements and inventory-related reporting.
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve accuracy, efficiency, and automation.
