Job summary

BELAY is seeking a Senior Inventory Accountant to support multiple client accounts with a focus on inventory, cost accounting, and system integrations.

You will lead reconciliations, analyze COGS and margins, and advise clients on processes while partnering with internal teams to deliver accurate financial reporting. This is a remote, full-time position with strong benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4–8 years of progressive accounting experience in client-service or inventory settings.
• Strong understanding of inventory, cost accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Experience with inventory systems and integrations.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and related accounting applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead inventory accounting across client accounts and provide guidance.
• Manage reconciliations, COGS, and month-end close for inventory.
• Analyze margins, variances, and process improvements.
• Train clients on inventory systems and best practices.
• Collaborate with Accounting Managers, Controllers, and internal teams.
