Job summary

RKL Virtual Management Solutions is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage daily accounting tasks, including sales postings, expense management, and initial reviews of financial statements. You will prepare month-end close, balance sheets, and P&L reports, addressing client questions and ensuring accurate postings for the Client Service Team.

With a focus on timely deliverables, you will maintain records, perform variance analyses, reconcile accounts, and support clients through month-end

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of general accounting and payroll experience in a corporate setting.
• CPA certification or other relevant certification a plus.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile AP/AR and prepare month-end adjusting journal entries.
• Prepare financial statements including balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements.
• Update accounting software with client data and ensure accurate record-keeping.
• Prepare for and conduct client meetings with thorough preparation and follow-up.
