Job summary

Montera is seeking a hands-on accounting leader to manage close processes, treasury operations, and the upcoming ERP implementation. The role drives journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting with a focus on accuracy and audit readiness.

The ideal candidate has CPA and 5+ years in capital-intensive environments, strong U.S. GAAP expertise, and the ability to operate as an IC while shaping scalable processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA and 5+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience, including capital intensive industries.
• Strong technical accounting expertise: U.S. GAAP, project accounting/CIP, capitalization policy, ASC 842 lease structures, audit-ready financials.
• Experience preparing journal entries, leading month end close, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Experience with PTP, OTC, and cash; exposure to treasury or cash management.
• Prior ERP implementation experience preferred.
• Clear, proactive written and verbal communication; trusted to flag issues early.

Responsibilities

• Close calendar and month end close ownership; ensure deadlines are met.
• Lead reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analysis for timely financials.
• Rebuild treasury processes: bank structure, cash positioning, funding coordination with project teams.
• Contribute to ERP implementation: requirements, data migration, testing, go-live; automate processes.
• Prepare monthly reporting packages and statements for leadership, investors, and auditors.
